March 2020 TWO VOSLOORUS PLAYERS CHOSEN TO REPRESENT GAUTENG EAST Following the trials that took place over the weekend, two of our Vosloorus development players have been chosen to represent Gauteng East in the forthcoming SA Schools tournament to be held in Pretoria from 9-13 April. Kgomotso Mabote will play in the girls under 19 team whilst Nkosikhona Ubisi will be playing in the under 15 boys team. This is a just reward for the effort and dedication that both have shown over the past two years to improve their game to the level that they can now represent their province. From this tournament an SA schools is traditionally chosen to tour England just before the Wimbledon Championships. Part of that tour includes the first Monday at Wimbledon. Players from Vosloorus have represented Gauteng East each year since 2015 and it shows the improvement of the talent that has been identified there over the years and is a tribute to the quality coaching they have received from Michael Lelosa. We wish both players the very best of luck for the SA schools tournament and are sure that they will do Vosloorus and their province proud.
